Description Micah Snyder 2017-12-06 14:02:46 EST
When you run ./configure on macos, you receive the following error because macos uses clang instead of gcc:
checking for multiarch libdir... clang: error: unsupported option '-print-multi-os-directory'
Comment 1 Steven Morgan 2017-12-06 19:35:10 EST
We should support clang.

What is the work around?
Comment 2 Micah Snyder 2017-12-07 09:14:09 EST
The build completes despite the error, but I'd like to eliminate the error eventually.
Comment 3 Micah Snyder 2018-06-04 17:37:59 EDT
Only occurs as a warning because clang doesn't support the option. Just going to close this ticket because it is benign and appears to be brought in from libtool.
