Bugzilla – Bug 12068
Troubles with some mirrors
Last modified: 2019-10-02 11:33:53 EDT
I get the occasional download issue. Latest was trying to get daily-24426.cdiff from 72.21.91.8 around Tue Mar 27 13:31:14 2018 PDT. These are annoying because they generate emails. Some other failures: ClamAV update process started at Tue Mar 27 08:27:30 2018 PDT nonblock_connect: connect timing out (60 secs) Can't connect to port 80 of host db.us.clamav.net (IP: 74.115.25.14) WARNING: getfile: daily-24425.cdiff not found on db.us.clamav.net (IP: 72.21.91.8) ClamAV update process started at Mon Mar 26 23:27:29 2018 PDT nonblock_connect: connect timing out (60 secs) Can't connect to port 80 of host db.us.clamav.net (IP: 74.115.25.14) So 72.21.91.8 and 74.115.25.14 seem to come up a bit.
Looks like 72.21.91.8 still does not have daily-24426.cdiff
More errors with the 24428.cdiff update: 72.21.91.8 -> 404 12.167.151.1 -> 500 198.148.78.4 -> 403
The issue appears to be that 74.115.25.14 is not listening/responding on port 80. All other IPs for db.us.clamav.net are working fine.
I'm still consistently seeing problems with 72.21.91.8 - latest with the 24447 update: 1522792269.007 26 127.0.0.1 TCP_MISS/404 673 GET http://db.us.clamav.net/daily-24447.cdiff - HIER_DIRECT/72.21.91.8 text/html And it is still not there: # curl --resolve db.us.clamav.net:80:72.21.91.8 http://db.us.clamav.net/daily-24447.cdiff <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <title>404 - Not Found</title> </head> <body> <h1>404 - Not Found</h1> </body> </html> Nor any other db files...
Looking into the mirrors now. Thank you for the heads up. I will let you know what becomes of the issue.
Looks like 72.21.91.8 only serves for db.us.big.clamav.net, and not for db.us.clamav.net.
Yeah, looking at possibly making a change- depending on what comes back in the next day or two from those mirrors
This looks like it was resolved via the mirror owner. Let me know if you have anymore issues.
fixed.
