Bugzilla – Bug 12093
libclammspack.so
Last modified: 2020-05-18 18:43:40 EDT
The libclammspack library files {.a,.la,.so,.so.0,.so.0.1.1} are placed in /usr/lib when using --prefix=/usr. But the other library files (libclamav, libclamunrar) are placed in /usr/lib64. The install is made after entering the libclamav/libmspack-0.5alpha directory. Was that intentional? My system (CentOS) does not load /usr/lib by default. It works after I include /usr/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*.conf The error message was: /usr/sbin/clamd: error while loading shared libraries: libclammspack.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Thanks for the report! I was unaware of this issue; it was definitely not intentional. Will investigate how to install it to the correct directory.
Fixed in version 0.102.0; bug can be closed.
Oh, thanks for reminding us! I definitely forgot to close this. Best, Micah
